Hi there, my name is Aisha Chaudhry and I wrote my memoir Family Matters to tell my story about what it was like for our family to wait for an organ transplant while my mother Annsa was on dialysis.

“I do not want another family, especially a Black, Asian, or East Asian family, to suffer what I suffered. Even one person and their family, who suffers like mine did, is one family too many.”
